Makin' Noise

by Amie

We are all making noise: ice snaps off the branches, snow melts into overflowing, gurgling brooks, birds fly back north and enchant us with song, and we giggle in the face of a sunny April day. As with hibernating bears, craftygal is also waking up, kicking off the seemingly never-ending gray cloak of winter, and starting over, ready to embrace a new spring of articles--and this month we won’t be doing it quietly.

Welcome the warm winds of spring and increase your Feng Shui with the melodic sounds of a silverware wind chime by joining Taryn at the Table. Hate that weird noise when the knife enters the mayonnaise jar? Listen in on Taryn’s lament as a picky eater in Stump. Next, join in on the passionate conversation with Christy at the Porch as she, and fashion illustrator Mariah Graham, discuss their mutual love for fashion. Then, kick off the woolen blankets of Lady Winter and be a loud mouth at a local poetry slam; check out craftygal’s reading at Java’s in Travels. Your stomach makin’ noise? Jan’s recipe for vegetarian biscuits and gravy at the Fridge will turn your morning breakfast into a dine-in at Hardees in the South and make your stomach sing.

We at craftygal hope that, as winter ends, we can help to warm up your days and put a spring in your step. Remember, this spring, wherever you go, make noise!
